Trike E-Bikes!

 Two seat versions?

One recently watched a series of videos made by a Polish Gentleman, I took to be a retired seas captain, who made his own one bed camper and it was ingenious to what can be achieved, but I wanted a two sleeper and also cut down on many extras, just keeping it basic and to 8.5 Kilos towing weight!

One also wanted to be able to take a passenger on the trike, with a suitable cover and extra batteries and what could be achieved with speed and distance along with safety?

Many people are buying these trikes to undercut road fines and operate for short journeys, cutting down on burning petrol, but one does not know what the legislation and the law of the road may change regionally in relation to what you can do or not and that make the concept pointless cross regional borders!

Polish Aviation!

 Lots still to Offer?

Poland made a few wise choices when it was part of the Soviet Warsaw pact in that of developing its own aircraft to meet its own military, civil and others middle areas for service and despite a changing world this has continued today with new type of smaller aircraft and adaptions to its newer western jet fighters!

Where it has been successful is in helicopters and agricultural, but now it is moving into the liaison market, with smaller aircraft, the Eagle man, but it is the Sokol helicopter based on the Mil-Mi-4 that just keeps going and is cheaper for many developing countries?

Poland was not very successful developing the Iskra jet trainer, but it did improve its fleet of ageing MIG-17/19 jets with board fairings, something that the Peoples Republic of China followed in!

MBT (Main battle tank).

Since the development of the tank in the first world war (1914-18) the British female Mk-1, great strides have been made to reach the level of today's machines. It was during world-war-II (1939-46) that the tank really came into its own. Nazi-Germany built just over 400 Tigers and believed that was a sufficient number to decimate any opposition. At first this seemed to be proved right, opposing the Germans were light machines, such as the British Matilda's and Crusaders, the Polish had ex-British Mark-ones, while Russia still were developing its T-34 in secret and the U.S. had not yet got involved in the war.

But both the U.S. and Russia came up with lighter vehicles such as the Sherman and T-34, which were more manoeuvrable and fast.

After 1945 both super powers entered into supporting other conflicts and an arms race ensued with many improvement being introduced. Today there are a number of what could be described as great machines. The U.S. Abraham's, Israeli Merkava, German Leopard, Russian T-74/82 family, British Chieftain and challenger.

But what does the future hold? Perhaps computer controlled unmanned vehicles will prove better?
