What Iran has is a long arms of International terrorism, that will see the sons of Trump recovered in barrels of oil in Mari Largo, if the one or the other slips up in the next few days!

The U.S. has better manpower and training for their systems to work, but politically Trump has no concern for the deaths of the uprising, but rather he pull of a good deal on nuclear and access to their oil fields!

Iran will strike Israel, since it is obsessed with trying to wipe it out with their missile forces, but it is still unclear if Iran has a atomic weapon of some type and how many, since the U.S. strikes on Ferdow six months ago did not wipe out as Trump and his lies claim?

Much of everything else he claims is also lies and the cost of all this will hurt both Europe and the U.S. long term with reprisals and terror!

Many helicopters most people think are for rich people who want privacy in travel, but they are wrong since many are used to ferry workers to our oil and gas rigs in the north sea and from time to time island communities in Scotland and the Scilley off Cornwall, Rathlin off N-Ireland and many other places to!

Helicopters are now common as air ambulances, saving may lives and transporting sick people over great distance from hospital to hospital apart of traffic and work incidents? 

Small types to large ones are employed in these essential roles in our modern world, getting over mountains and water are some of the key aspects of their roles!

Others are used by the national grid in relations to getting engineers to remote places to repair power lines after storms and bad weather, if not civil disturbances and deliberate acts of vandalism

 Meanwhile many are being replaced in some areas of work by drones, that are cheaper and can go places helicopters cannot, but they will also provide services in cities to move donor/ harvesting materials, blood samples and other, which cuts out getting stuck in traffic?

Other machines provide a taxi services for racing jockeys and moving materials that may be urgent for one reason or another and they also come in varied sizes!

The most common types in the U.K. Are the Airbus H135/145, Bell 207, Leonardo A189, 109, 139 and others in the family, the Airbus H225 is mostly deployed to gas and oil rigs and fitted out for 30-+, while the Sikorsky S-76 is the most popular air taxi and the S-92 for search and rescue?

Elon Musk is the man with the vision and the re-usable rocket is making way for this to happen, but what is the reality of living on a dust swept bowl and how will scientists cope with possible mental breakdowns as currently is occurring on the International Space Station (ISS)?

This will not be the first time, the Russians under the Soviet Union faced a prolonged flight, which is the longest for anyone to be in space alone!

There are so many questions related to space travel and the effects of it on the human body, China has done well with their station by introducing gravity and it is hoped that other things like converting water ice to hydrogen will power what is needed with solar and recycling urine?

But this can only go to a point, growing food and a change to metabolism and body strength will be new issues that are not yet known about fully, the money and the prestige will make people famous but it may be another seventy years before we see real population growth?

For many years now the engine of converting them to other fuels has been something of an issue, but the German car maker claims that they have developed a converter motor withing the axle of their prototype car and this will be the future for motoring, since it requires no conventional engine and a smaller fuel tank if that!

But what it has is it will be far lighter than electric vehicles, while also not over heating in summer and catching fire, while in winter loosing up to 30% of power. 

Something which have caught many drivers with these expensive cars and the waste of time charging them up before moving and having to keep doing so, since the lithium drains in cold weather even when the engine and the vehicle is moving!

Wind turbines are not Viable?

Recent long term studies done in both Israel and the United States has found that what was believed to be an alternative energy source is no longer viable, because when the winds pick-up the turbines have to be shut down for the fear of the blades getting sheared off!

Many have been placed at sea in areas of low lying waters and despite some advantages in the short term, they do not provide enough power as fossil fuel burning or Nuclear power?

As yet we do not know or perhaps will never know what Russia has achieved in its wave power alternatives, since the western world want to make money on their shares and investments in fossil fuels while they last?

The Electric Age?

2018 Promises to be the Electric Everything!

Electricity is nothing new when it comes to machine technologies but we are now talking about a new form of fusion drive that is none fossil fuel based? The U.S. will reveal their X-57 electric space plane, but it is one of many designs that are being planned or in development around the world!

The electric lithium powered cars, buses and trucks are already here and boats, trains and ships are to follow, but many of them remain bio-fuelled and are not truly what they claim to be?

Ecology and the environment is pushing for cleaner engines that do not cause or will cut pollution levels in our large cities.

Much of what is planned is well behind by in some cases up to forty years and it is not clear as yet if the new technology will just be like diesel replacing steam, with no knowledge that it might be worse in some health aspects?

Nano Technology.

Shrinking Computing.

With this ''around a long time technology'' a breakthrough in its use, is allowing it to be adapted and fitted to a host of systems! Space will be one of its best platforms to shrinking Satellite sizes, even down to that of the newish basic computers?

These basic computers have been around for a while and they allow the ability to connect other devices such as screens, storage devices, printers and other! This means that the days of the laptop may be coming to an end?

Power and computing capacity still remains a problem and the return of the desktop is coming back, but this is perhaps due to thefts of mobile phones and the 2 in ones which is lucrative for criminals in relation to on-line banking!

A new take on the Bicycle.

Many new Ideas..

But are all these new inventions really viable or safe over the clever design of the bicycle? At the moment nothing has really come about to seriously replace the original concept, this is perhaps because again and again inventors are not really trying.

The United States and Australia would seem to be the only countries who are trying out new ideas, but what is stopping them is that they can always rely on fossil fuel power.

The bicycle has the great advantage that it could become its own energy producer, peddle power combined with solar could help the cyclists to get up hills without having to do much of the work.

Meanwhile going down the hill would produce enough power re-charge the re-chargeable battery, so it would be ready for the next hill.  

Weight of components is perhaps one of the draw backs and most of the new designs lack the seat, which takes the strain off ones back.

Simple Machines.

Bicycles.

Human achievement has to summed up in this one machine, because it can almost go on any land surface and has also been adapted for the microlight.

There are some really clever concepts or takes, but what they lack is a seat as the bike has. Solar power, if the machine can be dual powered will be a great leap forward.  A machine for the people, easy to repare and maintain.

Two, three wheels, tandems, racing, and a few more versions now exist and that seems to be the end of the human capability with this simple machine?

It is strange that no one as yet has thought outside the box with the bicycle?

Town Planning. Part-One.

If you had the chance to plan out a new town and had to decide on the best transportation system for it, what would you go for? 

In the light of hurricane Sandy and its effects on the NE region of America, the Subway/Metro has ended up being flooded along with road tunnels. Meanwhile many trees and power lines were overturned blocking roads and highways. 

There is much to consider in the planning of any town or city.

The car has know been with us for well over one-hundred years. The first vehicles were steam powered, slow and dirty. But with the introduction of the petrol engine and the Ford mass-produced production lines, cars have become available to nearly everyone. 

What does the future hold for vehicles such as these, with the rising prices of fuel and the problems of pollution? 

Will the introduction of a hydrogen-Cell powered car be mass produced or limited perhaps initially just to police, military and emergency services and/or the wealthy. 

Will steam return in a new form, that is cleaner, will solar power vehicles as seen in science ficition come to the fore?
